NEW CONSTRUCTION
Whenever a large yacht construction project commences an owner or owning entity needs to be represented and all their requirements met by contractual and construction definitions.
Hampshire Marine have a number of years experience in this field and have worked with family offices, lawyers and owners to manage all the aspects incumbent upon the owner during a yacht construction contract.
Shipyards around the world are building ever more complex yachts and the size and specifications driving those mean owners and the shipyards too require experienced representation on the owner’s side.
Hampshire Marine provide on site supervision throughout new construction projects in all the major shipyards.
REFIT
Whilst an operational matter and often well taken care of by the yacht’s officers or management company, the size of many yachts in their 5th, 10th, 15th season of service can mean the scale of any refit or repair and maintenance period needs advance planning and dedicated project management.
Hampshire Marine are leaders in Superyacht refit management having been responsible for some of the largest yacht refits in recent years.
TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT
During a yacht’s operational season there will be primary focus on running a superb charter yacht or ensuring the owner on a private yacht has everything they need throughout the season. In the background there will be technical matters that need attending to and forward planning.
Hampshire Marine offers tailored Technical Management to assist the yacht’s captain and crew throughout the season, such as arranging emergency repairs and managing ongoing maintenance between guest use where tight turnarounds are required.
